HURRY UP MAY!
Oh...how I am counting down the days until this semester is over. Finals week is the first week of May...and it couldn't seem further away :(
(Top: My friend Johnny and I at Dance Marathon. A 12 hour long Fund-raiser that raises money for the Omaha Children's Hospital. Right: My friend Bana, part of Johnny and I also at Dance Marathon. FYI...I'm famous for making goofy faces)
Well, I'm going to school at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln! I went to High School with my roommate...so it works out well! My major (I'm definitely changing it...I'm not sure to what yet) is Advertising/Public Relations. I'd still enjoy doing that...but, it just seems a little too fast-paced for me. I took on some general classes this semester...I figured that would be best, until I know what I am going to major in. Lets see, last semester I took: Intro to Theatre (I loved this class, the professor was wonderful), Journalism 101 (not bad, I aced all my papers), Principles of Strategic Communication (in other words...Advertising), and Astronomy (uh...I did NOT like that class
I have a wonderful boyfriend named Koby. He went to school here last semester, but he lives in Omaha now. A little over a month ago, I got out of a REALLY long relationship (4 years and 4 months). I'm doing good tho, and I definitely think it's for the best that we broke up. But Koby has been awesome...we were friends all last semester and hung out a lot, so it all works out.
Music...uh...Music defines my life. I'm not really a big fan of rap or country. I'm more of a rock/punk/pop kinda person. I don't like the heavy rock where all you hear is screaming...that pretty much drives me crazy!
My favorite color changes all the time. Right now it's going back and forth between pink and green. I love color combinations like pink & black, pink & green, blue & brown...and I LOVE patterns...like poka-dot, stripes, and plaid!!
Maybe I can tell you some fun little interesting things about me...
Well, I was crowned prom queen my senior year (my roommate was homecoming queen). I have my nose and belly butt
(Left: *terrible picture* Dressed up for the formal. The theme was "A Black & White Affair")
Great Questions :D

Hey Everyone
Hey, I had some free time, so I thought I would post a blog :D So, most of you don't know me personally, but you know of me, sorta say! Well, it's a Saturday evening and I am sitting in my dorm...I'm pretty bored!! At least my roommate is out, with her boyfriend, so I don't have to deal with them, it's sorta nice having a little alone time once in awhile! Well, considering you all don't know too much about me...I would love to answer any questions you may have!!! :D

Another Week
Hi! What a week! Whew!!!!!! We have made it through our busy "birthday" season at our home. Rob is 41, Robert now 18, and the "Babs-inator" is 17. ;) Poor Barbara who had to take care of all of us on her own birthday as we were too sick to cook or do much at all.
The four of us who were sick with the flu and other flu-related/caused illnesses are in various stages of wellness and getting better. The boys have bounced back very quickly, and Rob and I are feeling better than we did, though not good yet. Thank God, the worst of that is over though! Robert informed me that we are taking longer to get well versus he & Matthew because we are "old & decrepit." Twerp!!!!!!!!!! :)
It's Friday night- the kids are at their Vietnamese church for the weekly youth service. I have balanced my checkbook and done some school work. Time for me to stretch back here, read, and start working on my portfolio I have to do. For anyone who is reading and didn't hear from Momma's "BIG MOUTH" :)-just kidding Momma- I was voted teacher of the year at my school this past week. So I have a lot of writing to do now for the county level "competition."
Oh, I should tell you we tried to pull a mean trick on Matthew tonight, but he didn't fall for it. We got the bill for our ER visit and it's about $600! YIKES!!!!!!!! We also figured that our flu came from sitting in the ER for so long with all those sick people, so we can "blame" him for the bill I'll be getting for all the tests & x-rays they did on me this week... So, Rob told Matthew that he would not be getting birthday or Christmas gifts for the rest of high school to pay for that bill. :) We're ornery, I know, but that's how we have fun.
Night!
Rebekah :)

FLU!!!!!!
Please pray for us. Rob, Robert, and I are sick with some sort of flu or flu-like bug, and Matthew woke up this morning to tell me he thinks he is starting to get it. That leaves one kid left- and it was her birthday yesterday. We postponed her special birthday dinner due to a crowded schedule yesterday, but at this rate, she's going to be the only one well enough to cook it. I hate that for her. What a birthday! She's in the kitchen now cooking food for the ladies' event I was going to cook for and attend today.
Thanks!
Thanks!

A Bad Day For Robert
Just thought I'd "pop" in here and say hi. Yesterday was a terrible day for Robert. His bank card was stolen and whoever nabbed it took off to the mall for a shopping spree. They completely drained his bank account and left him overdrawn. Thanks to God, two of the stores caught it as suspicious and didn't allow the purchases- which would have put him another $500+ in the hole- he's already over $100 overdrawn now. Poor guy!
Then last night at 6:00 while Rob was taking Barbara to a babysitting job, the boys decided to play around and play some hockey in the backyard. Only they didn't have a puck, so they improvised and used a much chewed-on dogbone. The only problem is that Robert took a direct blow from just a few feet away to his chin. YUCK!!!!! It busted a good hole in his chin. Long story, short- he has several hours sitting in the ER and a few stitches in his chin to show for his bad day.
Here's to hoping he doesn't have a day like this again. I told him I was going to return his birthday presents and his stitches could be his 18th birthday gift. :) I'm just kidding!
