Robert and Barbara at the "Babs' " National Honor Society induction today. This is their teacher & NHS advisor, Ms. Weinkle. (Yes, they are both bending down a bit or a lot because Ms. Weinkle is VERY short! :))

In 14 Days...........I will be a senior YEAH FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In 14 days I will be a senior and I can't wait. I am a junior marshall and I get to go shopping becuase I don't have all the right clothes I need. I love being a junior marshall, more clothes. I am being inducted into National Honors Society next wednessday and I am now a member of Beta Club. Over the summer I have to work on my extended essay which is like the IB Programs senior project and my Tok essay. Which is just another stupid essay for IB. Then I will have my english reading list over the summer for english and spanish. Then for IB Biology I have to work on my notes over the summer. I have two jobs one at the local baseball team (GO GRASSHOPPERS!!!!!!) which I love my job there. Then I will be working at Wet n' Wild the swiming pool in Greensboro. I don't know if I love that job cause I have not started working there yet. I have to go look at colleges over the summer and spend alot of time with my friends or as my mommy calls them my peeps. :) I have to also volunteer a bunch for IB and Beta Club. I have to have 33 hours done for Beta Club and like 175 I think for IB. I know its in the hundreds for IB. Then I am trying to get in this science program through A & T which pays like 5oo dollars for a week. Then I am also trying to get into this leadership program through the city of Greensboro which pays 6.15 a hour for like 5 weeks. If I get into either one I am going to buy a new bigger Ipod and a camara. Well thats it for right now talk to you people latter.

Summer

Well its after midnight here and sleep still eludes me, I am tired but not sleepy. So much to do and cant still...so I am at the mercy of others here in my house and am aggravated still so much of the time also....I am a doer not a sitter I do believe that one should not ask for patience if they truly do not want it.....I am in the middle of this trial now....but will be better for it in the end....I am now on my cane...and am trying to not rely on it as much as I was but that isn't happening...my knee still gives out on me...I am going back to work on Monday....with a new Supervisor, whom I really like she is tough and expects perfection no questions asked, but I am a worker who believe that I should do my job...no matter what I am there not to be babysitted...period....
As Summer comes around the corner my daughter as most of you know will be graduating and going on to college in the fall, a new chapter in her life and ours...I am returning to college in the fall as well as long as my knee holds out, I had bad news that my knee is not healing the way they wanted it to and will have to have a replacement in 5-10 years....probably 5 but I will be ok....
Stacie is growing by leaps and bounds she is talking and gooing, rolling over, teething and being a cutie, with a temper...

Update on Pop/Dad/Grandpa

He is doing good according to the therapist. He can now walk in the house without his crutches and they told him to walk on a treadmill/ride a stationary bike about 5 minutes a day.

Thanks for all the prayers. Just pray he doesn't over doo as the therapist starts giving him some okay to walk more.

He preached Saturday evening at our home church, Mighty Fortress Community Church. He will be speaking again Sunday morning as our pastor and his wife will be out of town celebrating their seventh anniversary.

♥♥ Volunteer work ♥♥

Hey Everyone. Just thought I would hop on here and see how everyone is doing. In other words, I am procrastinating. I really should be packing...but I am tired so it can wait.

I've been getting in some volunteer work helping my Aunt Kathleen at her church. A few months back my roommate and I helped with something called "The Prom Closet" where we sorted used prom dresses and helped with selecting them for under privileged girls. That was a LONG 2 days. We had close to a 800 prom dresses that we had to sort by size. Then this morning I helped do something called a "Food Net" where we get donated food items from local grocery stores. We then sort and distribute the food items to under privileged families. I will be getting some more volunteer work in the summer hopefully.
